A mini break

Camera is really, truly, officially dead. Won't charge, turn on, or do anything constructive. I have pictures on there that I want!!! ARG!

I think that I may just have to suck it up and buy a new camera that I can't afford. I am addicted now.

I will start posting again soon, but, it will probably be a really big post with loads of days. Just fair warning!

Day 8

I am cheating today and posting several pictures.  I was inspired by our wander around Norfolk.

View of the nearby village from the earthworks at Castle Rising.

Medieval grotesque on the wall of Castle Rising.

A clear, but eerie, face in an abandoned 13th century church.

An abandoned 13th century church we found in a field in Norfolk.

Foundations and grounds at the Castle Rising site.

Day 7 (April 26, 2008)

I forgot my camera today, but, I had my mobile, but, I can't seem to get the pictures off of my mobile.  Instead, here is a picture of my birthday gifts from my husband.  I opened them last night, just a few hours early.  Hurray for books!  He chose them on his own and did quite well, I think.

Day 3

I pass this church, located in Olney, on my way to work.  Taken while driving, which is not something I should be doing and explains why the composition of the shot is a little off.

Day 2

This is Bailey. Today, he went to the vet because he has an ear infection. This was right before the ear drops were administered and he wasn't a happy doggie. Usually, his ears stand up! The face was so pathetic that I had to choose this photo over the others.

Day 1

Window at Bede House, a medieval manor house that was transformed into an alms house, in Lyddington.
